Honoring Suppliers for their Dedication to Local Content Development in Ghana

On 14 November 2019, Tullow Ghana celebrated its suppliers for their dedication to local content development.

The keynote address was done by the Executive Vice President of Tullow Ghana, Kweku Andoh Awotwi where he hailed suppliers for their local content commitment and expressed his contentment with the stepped up engagement and interaction between Tullow Ghana and its suppliers.

“Tullow Ghana’s commitment is to deliver local content and support indigenous companies to maximize value across the oil and gas value chain for the long term. As a company, Tullow is deliberate about creating opportunities for local businesses in the areas of sanitation, transport and logistics, security, communications, and marine gas oil supply. We continue to identify scopes of work that can be transitioned to indigenous companies to deepen our supplier development initiatives and achieve our local content targets for economic development and growth,” Executive Vice President of Tullow Ghana, Kweku Awotwi said in his keynote address.

They received a special award for being the “Most Distinguished Local Supplier [Projects and Engineering Service Category].
